회사소개

Dear friends, We wish to present shortly the shareholding company Zeleziarne Podbrezova : l       Industrial centre of Podbrezova is located in central Slovakia, up the river Hron, 260 km from the capital of Slovakia, Bratislava l       Metallurgy – processing of iron ore and of non-ferrous metals (gold, silver, copper) reaches far back to the history of the region, staring as soon as the 16th century. l       In 1840 the iron works of Podbrezova were founded aimed at production of rails for the railways construction in the then Austrian monarchy. l       The so founded company was since then being gradually extended, modernized, modifying and adapting its activities to ever changing demands and requirements of the markets. Currently Zeleziarne Podbrezova a.s. developes its core production of steel tubes and other tube products. Legally it is a private shareholiding company. l       The company’s production technology is state of the art and meets fully the criteria of the top current standards, it therefore offers products in required quality and in line with corresponding world norms. l       The company works on the principle of a complete cycle, i.e., it comprises steel production, tube production down to variable types of tubes semi-products. l       Quality of the products is one of the strictly followed company’s priorities. Quality control system is certified under ISO 9002 by SGS Yarsley ICS Limited. Additional certificate under VDA 6.1. has been obtained by the company for the supplies to the automobile industry. For individual products Zeleziarne Podbrezova owns the product’s certificates issued by all significant world certifying companies. l       The company ensures environment protection either directly or through its sales subsidiaries to more than 50 countries world wide. l       The company developes systematically various activities focused on enhancement of sports, health protection and culture in the whole region.

The activities of Zeleziarne Podbrezova have never been limited to steel and tube production only. Podbrezova today is the key factor in the development of the whole upper river Hron region, namely with respect to health protection, sports, education and tourism. Podbrezova is luckly to be located in the heart of the low Tatras mountains, the traditional centre of tourism in Slovakia. Moreover, the high Tatras mountains, another well known centre of tourism, is within only 80km from Podbrezova. Golfers will appreciate the new 18-hole championship golf course in the Tale Tourism Centre. Moreover, the Tale Centre offers magnificent recreation and sporting opportunities all over the year. In this respect this is an ideal place for combining bisiness meeting with relaxation.

Heat exchanger tubes for high temperature
This kind of precise tube is used mainly for heat exchangers in which energy is transferred from one to another medium. this heat transfer can be combined with or without medium phase change. The tube is used in energetics, chemical industry, at heating and in ari conditioning devices.

Dimensions and tolerance

The dimensions of tubes are given in tables below, The tubes are produced as cold drawn and they are delivered mainly with the tolerance on wall thickness -0 +20%. the tubes with average wall thickness could be delivered upon agreement.

Surface

After the final cold drawing the tubes are heat treated in gas. Tube surface is free of scale.

Tube ends

Tube are deliverd with plain and deburred ends. On request they could be protected with plastic caps.

Testing

Each tube is nondestructive tested by eddy current test and after customer specification ultrasonic or hydrostatic test could be used . Other tests are made according to relevant standards.

Marking

Tubemarking with Ink Jet system. Bundles are marked with one or more metal tags with required information.

Protective coating

Outer and inner surface are usually protected with a light flim of oil. Tubes destined to finning operations are usually oiled on the outer surface only, that allow to have a very light film of oil easy to remove.

Packing

Tubes are packed in round or hexagonal bundles, on request the ends of the bundles can be protected with juta or polythene bags. Tubes can be also packed in seaworthy wooden boxes.
